Founded in 2000, our practice was built on a simple principle: provide comprehensive, patient-focused eye care with honesty and attention to detail. After relocating to St. Joseph, Dr. Steven Rosenak saw an opportunity to create a practice centered on long-term relationships and high-quality medical eye care. Since opening our doors, we have remained committed to serving the community with integrity, expertise, and a personal touch.

Dr. Steven W. Rosenak
Dr. Steven Rosenak earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston in 1987 and has 39 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care. He and his wife, Sandy, established the practice in January of 2000, and he has remained a trusted presence in the St. Joseph community ever since. His vision was to create a community-centered office built on trust and long-term relationships. He is known for his personable nature and enthusiasm for connecting with patients. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys the outdoors, scouting, and sharing the profession he loves with his son, Spencer.
Dr. Amy F. Fitgerald
Dr. Amy Fitzgerald earned her degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 1998. With extensive experience caring for patients of all ages, she is known for her compassionate approach and commitment to making every visit comfortable and informative. Dr. Fitzgerald values patient education and preventive eye care, helping individuals and families understand and protect their long-term vision health. Her warm and inviting demeanor is felt inside and out of the office. She values family above all else and loves spending days outside of work with her new grandson, Weston!
Dr. Spencer C. Rosenak
Dr. Spencer Rosenak earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2025 and is proud to return to his hometown to serve the community he knows and loves. He has a particular interest in ocular disease and integrating new technology to enhance early detection and treatment. While embracing new innovations in eye care, he remains grounded in the relationship-focused values that built the practice. As part of a father–son legacy, Dr. Rosenak is honored to continue serving generations of local families while helping lead the practice into its next chapter.
