To our valued patients,
As a local business and residents of St. Joseph, we are committed to protecting the health of our community at large. COVID-19 remains a rapidly evolving situation. At this time we have to do what we can to cooperate with federal, state, and local government to mitigate the spread of this disease. The CDC has put out the recommendations that all optometrists and ophthalmologists cease providing any treatment other than urgent or emergency care. This includes routine exams for glasses and contacts.
Due to those recommendations, we will be closed effective 4:00pm Friday, March 20 until 9:00am Monday, April 6th.
All appointments that are scheduled for the next 2 weeks will be cancelled. When the restrictions are lifted by the CDC, we will be calling those patients to reschedule their appointments.
While we acknowledge the inconvenience of this decision, we are fully committed to doing the right thing, not only for our staff and their families, but also our patients. We will post updates to our website as more information and decisions are made.
